don@campcaninect.com

Don's interest in dog training began at an early age when he would accompany his father training their two exceptional bird dogs. Over the years, his enthusiasm grew as a result of adopting his dog Max from a rescue group. Since then, Don has attended several training classes and is committed to the benefits of positive reinforcement training.
Don also works as a volunteer and foster for Labs4Rescue. He also conducts home visits for the non profit organization to ensure all adopted dogs have a safe home. Don believes in the benefits of obedience training with regard to reducing the number of dogs that are surrendered to shelters.
Don is committed to furthering his education as a dog trainer as evidenced by his earning the designation Certified Professional Dog Trainer from the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers. He is constantly researching new and innovatitive techniques to better himself and those he teaches. Don also hopes to one day train service dogs.
